This lush 2 acre parcel of land had a generous slope and the owners wanted a flat area for the house and landscaping, whilst blocking the cool Southerly winds and creating privacy.This was achieved by a 2000m3 cut and fill of the block and a large freeform rock wall, with a planted out batter above.
Quality and detail was the brief from the owners both internally and externally. This was completed by the use of timber and tile detailing throughout the house. The large metallic front door with custom leather bound stainless steel handle finishes the entry off.
