The idea of this renovation was to continue the feel of the “original area” in Byron Bay with the use of a traditional Queenslander and renovate according to the owners requirements. These were more room and more contemporary interiors and finishing’s. A second storey was built to include more bedrooms, a modern kitchen, bathroom, laundry, carport and entertaining area. French doors were re-used from another area of the house along with a picket handrail. The original timber floors were sanded and polished to bring them back to life.
