We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional work done by Todd and his team in constructing our beautiful home. Todd is more than just a excellent builder - he is a master of his trade, only working with the highest standard trades and products and his entire team reflect his philosophy of craftsmanship. Todd Knaus and his highly competent team of tradepersons and subcontractors did an outstanding job in all aspect of the project to complete a magnificent home to an exceptionally high quality that was brought in on time and within a carefully defined budget. The building was highly detailed and included some challenging elements requiring fine tolerances in the construction. It also included a range of materials and finishes with considerable steel and timber detailing. Knaus Constructions is a very organised and capable building company that is very well run by Todd. He has an excellent team of tradepersons and subcontractors that he always gets the very best out of. The company also has well structured systems to manage their projects and keep clients informed of programme and costs at all times.

Our experience of Todd throughout the building of our home was of the highest standard. Many of the bespoke features within the house demanded attention to detail and quality workmanship. Todd and his team executed these with professionalism. Todd demonstrated sounds business management and ethical conduct throughout the build. Todd also managed himself, subcontractors and all others associated with the build in a professional and efficient manner. We were very impressed with Todd throughout the build. He was always contactable and displayed a high degree of competency in regard to time management. Todd’s friendly and engaging manner combined with his high level competency and professionalism made the process of building our home an exciting and enjoyable experience.

Firstly, we found Todd was always an excellent communicator which aids in the smooth running of a job, therefore leads to a high level of satisfaction from clients such as ourselves, and other contractors on the construction site. We have dealt with Todd since 2008 where his team built a granny flat to replace an existing shed at our house in Byron Bay. We were very impressed with the quality of finish and the attention to detail and the service post completion that we have used Todd Knaus Constructions for 2 renovations/refits at our business in town. Following this we purchased a 40 year old house in need of a major renovation. There was no hesitation that we would be using Todd. Todd worked closely with us and our architect. He was available at all times throughout this 8 month renovation and turned what could have been a renovation nightmare into a really pleasant experience.
